About the Moosbaum's Science & Art Shop
The triumph of imaging methods in science
With modern imaging techniques, natural sciences continually advance to the limits of macro- and microcosmos. Thus, the space-based Hubble telescope is capable of imaging galaxies at the end of the visible universe. Dive robots sense primal creatures at the bottom of the deep sea, and with electron microscopes the researchers form biological structures on a cellular level. They investigate the structure of crystals and the interplay of tiny bacteria and tiny ones Viruses with plants and animals.
Biology and Medicine: High Gloss Prints, Picture Collections, Art Calendar
The Moosbaum publishing house has set itself the task of creating particularly fascinating motifs from different scientific disciplines, especially biology and medicine in its Science & Art Shop, launched in 2017 to a broad public in the form of high-gloss art prints, art calendars and reared on Alu-Dibond for purchase.
The heart of the product range is, of course, our "LifeSciences Calendar", which has been launched annually since 2002, with electron microscopes from the company 'eye of science'.
Art: The Magic of the Water Drops
A 2018 highlight is Markus Reugel's drop-art calendar showing breathtaking high-speed camera snapshots of dyed water droplets.
Toys for physicists such as gyros and special weather forecasting devices will gradually complement the product diversity.
